JUSTIFICATION FOR MID-TERM RULE ADDITION:
In year 2005, CPHA membership voted to include the OCAP program in our yearend awards program. The purpose of the CPHA award was at the request of its members to give recognition to those who promote the paint horse throughout the community at local activities and open shows. In the past, APHA OCAP credited points based on competition at ANY horse show that was not an APHA recognized paint show. As of Jan. 2001, APHA no longer has the OCAP program therefore, CPHA OCAP was left without guidelines. In order to begin the CPHA OCAP program, the membership voted on and approved the following rules. At the same time, the membership voted to name this new program the "CPHA Open Competition Achievements Program".

Purpose: CPHA OCAP program is designed only to promote paints locally, give alternative activities to our members and support other horse clubs within our community.
